Formed in 2012, Platinum Power operates in the development, funding and construction of renewable energy projects located in Morocco and Sub-Saharan Africa. The Company was in 2013 the first private player in Morocco to obtain hydraulic resource concessions for electricity generation. This milestone was a new stage in the Moroccan energy deregulation process, allowing the private sector to sell very high voltage, high voltage (and shortly medium voltage), directly to off-takers. Thanks to the strong support from the Moroccan Government which considers Platinum Power one of the most credible players in the renewable energy sector, the Company developed a solid and diversified pipeline of projects totalizing a capacity of 1,500 MW and using the three technologies hydroelectricity, wind and solar power.
